The beauty of Firemizer is its simplicity!

Simply place the Firemizer grid on the base of your stove or hearth and build your fire on top by adding your firewood or coal as usual. As soon as you start the fire the Firemizer grid will begin to heat up quickly. This is where the savings begin!

Firemizer will typically last for up to 500 burning hours, which is equivalent to 6 weeks if used for 12 hours per day.

As Firemizer will ensure the fuel is burnt more thoroughly, there will be a considerable reduction in the amount of ash produced and any ash that is left will be a very fine powder with no lumps in it. This fine ash can simply be dusted off before each new fire.

What types of stoves can be used?

Firemizer has been designed for use in the majority of domestic wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves.

The benefits of Firemizer may be reduced in specialist high-end stoves incorporating sophisticated engineering to control and pre-heat the air flow.

    What fuels can be used?

Firemizer has been specifically designed for use with seasoned firewood, good quality coal or a combination of firewood and coal as fuel usage is typically reduced by up to 38% with these fuels.

Firemizer can also be used with wood pellets and briquettes made from compressed sawdust and other wood waste, with fuel usage typically being reduced by around 20%.

Firemizer can also be used with Coalite with fuel usage typically being reduced by 20%.

Firemizer is not designed for use with charcoal or very small husk pellets and some high intensity coals.

    Does size matter?

The Firemizer should cover most of the base of your stove or hearth but it does not have to be an exact fit. If you decide the Firemizer is too big for your fire, you can simply cut to size with household scissors (we recommend the use of protective gloves). If you have a really big fire you can place two Firemizers side-by-side.

How do I know when to replace it?

Safety first! When a used Firemizer starts to deteriorate, wait until the fire has gone out and is cold before removal. Firemizer is made up of metal fibers with sharp points and we recommend wearing gloves when handling the product to protect your hands. We also recommend that you keep the product away from children and pets.

Firemizer will typically last for up to 500 burning hours. You will notice it will need replacing when some of the filaments start to break apart and/or a reduction in efficiency.

The working life of Firemizer is maximized by burning seasoned firewood. If you burn unseasoned wood or cheap coal the working life may be reduced due to impurities.

    Doing good for the environment

The cardboard packaging can be recycled with your normal household paper waste and a used Firemizer can be recycled with your normal household metal waste.
